ประกาศเมื่อไม่กี่ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมานี้เอง สำหรับรางวัล Asian Film Awards ซึ่งปรับฐานให้ใหญ่ขึ้นจาก Hong Kong Film Awards เดิม และหนังไทยสองเรื่องได้เข้าชิงอย่าง Invisible Waves และ แสงศตวรรษ ในหลายสาขา ในที่สุด ก็มีเพียง ลี ชาตะเมธีกุล ได้รับรางวัลตัดต่อยอดเยี่ยม จากภาพยนตร์เรื่อง แสงศตวรรษ
