จากการที่คณะกรรมการประกวดภาพยนตร์รางวัลสุพรรณหงส์ ได้ส่งรายชื่อผู้เข้ารอบต่อทางสมาคมสมาพันธ์ภาพยนตร์แห่งชาติ และได้มีการแถลงข่าวให้ มะหมี่ นภคปภา นาคประสิทธิ์ นักแสดงนำจากภาพยนตร์เรื่อง ลองของ เข้าชิงรางวัลนักแสดงสมทบหญิงยอดเยี่ยม ซึ่งขัดกับความเป็นจริงที่ทางต้นสังกัด บริษัท ไฟว์สตาร์ โปรดักชั่น จำกัด ได้ส่งชื่อนักแสดงสาวเข้าชิงในรางวัลนักแสดงนำหญิงยอดเยี่ยม จนเกิดกรณีพิพาทกับคณะกรรมการรางวัลสุพรรณหงส์ ถึงความไม่ชัดเจนในการจัดอันดับการนำเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงรางวัลนั้น ทั้งนี้ เมื่อวันจันทร์ที่ 26 ธันวาคม 2548 ที่ผ่านมา ทางบริษัทฯ ได้ทำจดหมายขอคำชี้แจงข้อเท็จจริงถึงกรณีดังกล่าวที่เกิดขึ้น โดยมีความประสงค์ที่จะให้ทางคณะกรรมการชี้แจงถึงเหตุและผลของกรณีดังกล่าว เป็นเอกสารตอบกลับมายังบริษัทฯ
แต่ ณ ปัจจุบัน ทางบริษัท ไฟว์สตาร์ โปรดักชั่น จำกัด ก็ยังมิได้คำชี้แจงในกรณีดังกล่าว ฝ่ายประชาสัมพันธ์ได้รับแต่เพียงโทรศัพท์จากทางสมาคมสมาพันธ์ฯ (ในวันที่ 27 ธ.ค. 48) ว่า ขอตัดสิทธิโควต้าการเดินทางไปร่วมงานสุพรรณหงส์ ที่เขาหลัก จ.พังงา ของบริษัทไฟว์สตาร์ทั้งหมด โดยมิได้แจ้งเหตุผลใด ๆ ในการตัดสิทธิครั้งนี้
ดังนั้น ทางบริษัท ไฟว์สตาร์ โปรดักชั่น จำกัด จึงมีความจำเป็นที่จะต้องยกเลิกการเดินทางไปร่วมงานดังกล่าว ของนักแสดงนำ มะหมี่ นภคปภา นาคประสิทธิ์ และทีมงานทั้งหมด จากภาพยนตร์เรื่อง ลองของ
จึงชี้แจงมาเพื่อทราบ และขอขอบคุณสื่อมวลชนทุกท่านสำหรับความอนุเคราะห์ที่ดีเสมอมา

Reference to the recent dispute over the unclarity of Suphannahong Award committee, in the nomination of Mamee - Napakapa Nakprasit from her role in The Art of Devil 2 for the best supporting actress, on Monday 26 December the company has submitted a letter to the committee for clarifications with an expectation of responses. She has disputed that she has been proposed for the best actress nomination by the production company Five Star Production,
Up to now, the company has not received any news from the committee, except a call from the Federation of National Producers of Thailand (on 27 Dec 2005), informing that all of the Five Stars quota to travel to Khao Lak, Phang-Nga Province for the participation of Suphannahong Award Announcement and Ceremoney has been cut without any given reasons.
We, Five Star Production, therefore need to cancel all of the trips and participation of Mamee Napakapa Nakprasit and all of the crew members of The Art of Devil 2 to the ceremony.
