LOST FILMS OF ASIA (November 2006) by Nick Deocampo (editor)
A great attempt in compiling the lists of Asian lost films with the contributions by each countrys wellknown archivists and experts. The book includes works from Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. In Thailand, Dome Sukvong did the contributions and selected three films that are considered totally lost, despite several attempts having been made. They are Suvarna of Siam (1923), Newsreel of 1932 Coup de tat (1932), and Santi-Weena (1954).
